Clean the World gets soap to people who really need it. Impoverished people around the world die every day from acute respiratory infection and diarrheal disease because they have no soap. The death toll is staggering. Each year more than five million lives are lost to these diseases with the majority of deaths being among children less than five years old. Studies have shown that simple hand washing substantially reduces the spread of these diseases. Unfortunately, the essential items for proper hand washing are unobtainable for millions of people worldwide. |

Where we shop
We all have the power to change the world. The easiest way to make a change starts with where you decide to spend your money. For Tres Spa, it's with who we purchase our raw materials from. While we feel our list of vendors who supply us is proprietary information, we can tell you how we select and qualify the resources we us.
Stewardship: We look for kindred spirits, those companies who share in the same guiding principles that we have at Très Spa. A deep sense of social and environmental responsibility that guides all business decisions.
Is it Organic? Since the vast majority of the ingredients we use are organic, we look for certified organic materials.
Is it sustainable and readily renewable? We emphasize using ingredients that can be sustained both ecologically and economically, without causing devastation to any region or harm to any living habitat. There are some oils we just will not use unless it is for a very minimal application or for a very specialized application.
Location, Location, Location! Our first preference is given to reputable suppliers in a local radius of 100 miles. If we cannot find a reasonable solution locally, then we look for vendors who are in the US. If one cannot be found, then we go beyond the borders. For example, we use a good deal of Hemp in our products. At this time, this crop cannot be legally cultivated and harvested inside the US so we source from our neighbors in Canada where it is legal.
